The relay you found, PB2535-ND, should work as an alternate for SMIH-12VDC-SL-C. They both have the same 1 Form C pin arrangement, same coil voltage, same contact rating of 16A / 240VAC. Also the spacing of the pins seem to be the same, but due to tolerances, may be a little off, but should mount in the same holes from the original relay.
I think you found a good replacement.
I see we currently have only 1 of these in stock, so another option is G5RL-1-E-HR DC12, which is rated for up to 16A / 250VAC, with the same pin spacing/locations.
