Stackable tower lights (aka: signal tower, indicator, andon, warning or industrial signal lights) are commonly used on equipment in industrial manufacturing and process control environments. They provide visual and audible indicators of a machine state or process event to machine operators, technicians, production managers and factory personnel. Device functions may include flashing, buzzing, rotating, siren, alternating and pulse tones or human voice output.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the device.
Number of Stacks: Indicates how many illuminating elements are incorporated into the device.
Lamp Type: Indicates the type of bulb technology used as the light source.
Light Color: Indicates the color(s) of the light produced by the device.
Function - Lighting: Indicates the behavior of the illumination source, when activated.
Function - Audible: Indicates the behavior of the audio source, when activated.
Voltage - Supply: Typically represented by a range, this indicates the low and high voltage limits which one can expect standard operation. Voltages outside this range may damage the device and other system components.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as adjustable volume orselector control.
Termination Style: Selection of termination style used to connect the device to a system, such as a connector or wire leads.
Ingress Protection: IP (Ingress Protection) ratings such as (IP20, IP65, IP67, etc.) define how likely water and dirt will get into the system. The first number represents dirt and solid contaminants while the second represents water and liquids.

| 5 | Protected against dust. Limited ingress of dust permitted. | Will not affect operation of equipment 2-8 hours. Protected against jets of water. Limited ingress permitted. |
| 6 | Dust tight. No ingress of dust 2-8 hours. | Protected against powerful jets of water. Limited ingress permitted. |

Operating Temperature: Recommended operating temperature, typically given in a range or as a maximum. Exceeding these temperatures may affect performance or damage the device and other system components.
