Can anyone tell me what the 25.08 GB designates on this resistor? I have an exact match but this number is different on the new one. It isnt listed in the specs, so I assume its not critical?

I’m checking with the supplier to see if they have any details on what that calls out.
It may be just a date/lot code. I would focus more on the part number being the same.

It is the date code it was manufactured and the country of manufacture.

The “25.08” is almost certainly “year. work week”, so probably “2025, week 8”. “GB” is less obvious, but probably lot code.
