Hello greggk47,

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.

As Paul said, this CR102J3RS215QF7 is a basic ON-OFF single pole single throw switch.

Regards.

My inquiry is, will the switch light up when turned on? I previously bought a switch on PO REDACTED, and when I installed and turned it on, the switch lit up momentarily, then the light burned out. I’m using it on a 120V power source.

You can wire it up with input Line Voltage connected to terminal 2 so the illumination is always on or you can wire it up with input line voltage connected to terminal 1 so that the illumination is only on when the switch is closed.

The typical cause of this behavior is a failure to note that the illumination voltage and rated contact voltage often differ. A switch such as P/N CW103-ND for example can be used to switch 120VAC, but the illumination source is designed for 12VDC.

P/N CR102J3RS215QF7 by comparison indicates a nominal illumination voltage of 125VAC.
