TDK has teamed with Digi-Key to create a fully functional Transformer Design Tool. Its a automatic tool where customers can work through and enter their preferences and see the calculations and results they can expect to see. Once complete they can get a part number and drawing and have a special custom number designated. Once that is complete the customer can order 5 piece custom sample order for $200 for testing.
These custom Transformers are based off TDK’s ECO series which are designed off TDK’s own optimized ferrite technologies. It also features an automated winding process for quality consistency and excellent size for performance.
