Terminal ID on several BMW K100 terminals

Hello everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to help me identify the following items. I restore and modify 1980’s–1990’s BMW K Series motorcycles, and in the pursuit of keeping things as close to original as possible, I’d like to redo the wiring properly using the correct terminals.

I have eight different terminals that I’m trying to track down. Looking through the databases of connectors has been a bit overwhelming, as I don’t have much background in this area. Any guidance on part numbers, proper names, or sourcing would be greatly appreciated.

I’m also curious about the logo markings on a few of these terminals—if anyone recognizes them, I’d love to know more.

Thank you again for your time and expertise.

Kind regards,
Trevor

P.S. I see that I can only post three images per post as a new user, so I guess this will be multiple posts.

@ditstang
If you can, try to post those images to this same post to keep things tidy.

Am I able to post three images per post on the same thread?

@ditstang

I am not sure of the specifics on that.
If you try to add images to a reply here does it allow you?

It had limited the amount of images (3) that I could upload due to being a new user, but I will try.

I’ll post the rest later tonight as I need to make some errands.

Thank you

Please let me know if you need additional information or pictures.

If someone doesn’t know exact, but has a general description of type, that would help point me in the right direction. Thank you!

Hello,

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum. The contacts shown here are listed as quick connects in system and can be found here

The other terminals you list, did these come out of plastic housings? If so, do you have numbers or markings on the housings ?

Can you please provide a picture of the connector this goes into? Looks like AMP is stamped on the terminal which indicates it’s made by TE Connectivity - Amp

The closest contact I can find to this one is Part Number 280050-2

Thank you all for your help! Johnny 5 (ChatGPT) and I made some great progress last night finding most of them.

350536-3

62050-1 - for relays

42238-2 - for relays

180430-2 for alternator

151791-2 for alternator

927770-1 for EV1 injector

The last two are not so critical, as I can get a new style terminal with an exact replica of the terminal casing.

I am curious whos mark this is on several connectors…any ideas?

Sorry, I don’t recognize that marking.
