The reason of why the 2 pin is EXCLUDED

I tried to find some USB4 type c sockets. The socket may be horizontally mounted on the edge of a PCB. But 2 pin of centered is not INCLUDED. 2 Pins are EXTRACTED… Functionally it might not be a problem, DP+ DP-. But I want to know the 2 pin for contact is not INCLUDED.

Any one who could tell me the reason why???

Thank you for pointing this out I have checked on Molex’s website and part number 1054440001is only a 22 pin USB C plug. I have reported this error to have our website corrected.
