I am looking for the dimension of the thermal pad for this part.
LT1084CT-5#PBF-ND
It is capable of 5A but most likely we won’t be using it about 3A current draw.

Here are the dimensions of the part itself.
Looking at that you would want to be around 10x15 to cover the back pad.
We also have some pads that are pre-cut for the TO-220 parts, however you would need to verify the thermal specs will meet your application.
