What are soldering precautions for DIP switches?

There are different conditions for automatic soldering, manual soldering, and reflow soldering. Please perform soldering according to conditions for each.

Shown below are soldering conditions (solder temperature, soldering time) for Omron’s DIP switches. Please note that the conditions differ depending on the model and the type.

Quick tips

Depending on the striker position during soldering, the life and/or contact force may degrade for DIP switches.
Make sure that the strikers are set fully to either ON or OFF when soldering.
For A6TN and A6SN models, however, always set the strikers to OFF before soldering.
