Wire splice connector terminals are devices that provide an insulated or non-insulated point of electrical connection for two or more conductors secured by crimping, soldering, friction, screw, IDC or a wire nut (twist on). They are selected by the number and gauge of the wire. The terminal types are butt splice, closed end, single opening, crimp band, open band, inline, or tap.

Terminal Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the device.
Number of Wire Entries: Indicates the number of wire attachment points provided by the device.
Termination: Selection of termination style used to connect the device to a system, such as crimp or solder.
Wire Gauge: The wire size or size range with which a product is designed for use, typically expressed in terms of American Wire Gauge.
Insulation: Indicates if the item has insulation and to what extent.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as a cap or flame retardant.
Color: The dominant color of the device.
