Happy New Year folks.
So I’m replacing a relay on a small water heater. The one I ordered has an extra port (NO,NC) OLD relay has 4 pins. New relay has 5. Do I need to create a ground or do I ignore the 5th pin?

The additional terminal should be ignored or permanently capped off with a suitable insulating material to prevent incorrect connection of the sort indicated in the photos above.
