Is there a 3 pin LED device which provides a “combined” anode/cathode “common” pin? If so, what is the technical description to use in searching for such a device?
Thank you for your inquiry and welcome to the community!
It would be found in LED Indication - Discrete category as search filter Configuration:
Thanks very much for the reply. The four configurations you mentioned DO NOT meet my query. Attached is a diagram of the device I am seeking. It may not exist but I’d appreciate your help to determine if such a thing is produced. If it DOES NOT, then we’re done. If it DOES, I’d greatly appreciate an example product code/description so I can match my other criteria (e.g. power rating, luminosity, etc.)

The LEDs that are available do not have 3 leads, they are bidirectional 2 lead LEDs.
Example part:
754-1751-ND
Thanks!! I get it … so there’s no such product like I pictured?

I too looked over the items we list and did not see a series connected Bi-color LED that we have at this time.
Thanks again. Perhaps this is an idea looking for a home!
Cheers
Doug
The closest that I ended up see is a 160-2026-1-ND.
Which is 2 Independent LEDs in 1 package. You would then need to tie the leads together to get the version you are wanting via the board this would mount to.
Nice “substitute”!.. thanks again
