400VAC Belpa transformer

Hello everyone,

If I may please ask a couple of questions pertaining to an issue i recently had. Went to a dock with the vessel, plumbed in our 480vac/200amp shorepower cord. The marina had some power issues, that ended up backfeeding through several systems. Taking out two transformers that were supplying 230vac for specific control circuits.

Please see attached photo. I believe this model to be discontinued and have had no reply from Belpa. Can someone possibly help me to understand the parameters needed to replace this with an identical/workable transformer?

Thank you

Hello Taylor765,

To find an alternative knowing your primary and secondary voltage, power rating, frequency, and phase would be a good start.
Based on what you have said something that is 1 phase, 50hz, has primary voltage of 480VAC, secondary voltage of 230VAC, and is rated for 1000VA could work as an alternative. Unfortunately, I do not see that we have anything that matches those specifications.

Hello Nick,

Thank you very much for the explanation.

Understood, thank you
