Boot and Seal Accessories are used to cover the exterior of switches or other devices to keep dust, water, or oil out of the switch or from entering the equipment and causing secondary damage. The type of accessories are Limit Switch Boot, O-Ring, Pushbutton Boot (Full, Half), Rocker Boot, Rotary Shaft Seal, Sealing Cap, Sealing Washer, and Toggle Boot (Full, Half).
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: The type, style, or nature of the accessory.
For Use With/Related Products: Defines other part types, numbers, or series with which this product is designed to be used.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as antimicrobial or shielded.
Mounting Feature: Indicates the specific location or position where the accessory is intended to be mounted in relation to the panel.
Thread Size: Indicates the thread size of compatible screws and bolts. For more information on screw sizes see Choosing a Screw by the Thread Size.
Size / Dimension: The physical dimensions of the device. Typically height or inside diameter (ID) and height.
Actuator Diameter: The maximum actuator diameter that a boot or seal is designed to accommodate.
Color: The dominant color of the device.
Material: Indicates the material composition of the device.
Operating Temperature: Recommended operating temperature, typically given in a range or as a maximum. Exceeding these temperatures may affect performance or damage the device and other system components.
Ingress Protection: IP (Ingress Protection) Ratings (IP20, IP65, IP67 etc.) - Define how likely it is that water and dirt will get into the system. The first number is for dirt and solid contaminants and the second number is for water.

| 5 | Protected against dust. Limited ingress of dust permitted. | Will not affect operation of equipment 2-8 hours. Protected against jets of water. Limited ingress permitted. |
| 6 | Dust tight. No ingress of dust 2-8 hours. | Protected against powerful jets of water. Limited ingress permitted. |
