Modular connectors are a series of standardized interconnect products commonly used in wired information and telecommunications networks. Accessory products for such connectors include items such as backshells, caps, covers, seals, mounting and fixation hardware, protective devices, and a variety of other items ancillary to or supportive of their use, either as commonly encountered or in modified form to facilitate their use in unconventional situations.
SelectionCharacteristics
Accessory Type: The type, style, or nature of the accessory.
For Use With/Related Products: Defines other part types, numbers, or series with which this product is designed to be used.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as a cable clamp, cover, or IP ratings.
IP Ratings
IP (Ingress Protection) ratings such as (IP20, IP65, IP67, etc.) define how likely water and dirt will get into the system. The first number represents dirt and solid contaminants while the second represents water and liquids.
