Modular Connector Adapters are used to convert from one Modular Connector style to another Modular connector style whether it is mounted by Flange, Brackets, Front side nut, Rear side nut, or Panel mount. Examples include Jacks 4p4c (RJ9, RJ10, RJ22), 6p4c (RJ11, RJ14), 6p6c (RJ11), 8p8c (RJ45), 10p8c, Plugs 4p4c (RJ9, RJ10, RJ22), 6p4c (RJ11, RJ14), 6p6c (RJ11), 8p8c (RJ45), or PCB. Ratings include Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6e.
SelectionCharacteristics
Convert From (Adapter End): Indicates the style and configuration of the connector being converted from.
Convert To (Adapter End): Indicates the style and configuration of the connector being converted to.
Type: Indicates the function for which the adapter was designed.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as keying, having a cover, or having a backshell.
Ingress Protection: IP (Ingress Protection) ratings such as (IP20, IP65, IP67, etc.) define how likely water and dirt will get into the system. The first number represents dirt and solid contaminants while the second represents water and liquids.

Mounting Type: Indicates how the device is attached.
Mounting Feature: A modifying feature to how the device is being attached.
Ratings: Minimum performance standards of the device, which are typically set by a third party.
Shielding: Whether or not the device possesses an electrically insulating barrier that helps to reduce or eliminate electromagnetic interference.
Shell Material, Finish: Indicates the material from which a connector’s shell is fabricated, and the material or process used for surface treatment thereof.
