Circular Connectors Adapters are used to convert from one Circular Connector style to another whether it is Free-Hanging or Panel mount. SelectionCharacteristics
Connector Style: Indicates the purpose and/or configuration of the device.
Convert From (Adapter End): Type or style of connection being converted from.
Convert To (Adapter End): Type or style of connection being converted to.
Shell Size - Insert (Convert From): Size/style designation for the end of the adapter designated “convert from”.
Shell Size - Insert (Convert To): size/style designation for the end of the adapter designated “convert to”.
Number of Positions (Convert From): The number of circuits within the connector on the “convert from” side of the adapter.
Number of Positions (Convert To): The number of circuits within the connector on the “convert to” side of the adapter. Multiple instances of a connector are reflected in parentheses.
Mounting Type: Indicates how the device is attached.
Mounting Feature: A modifying feature to how the device is being attached.
Fastening Type: The mating retention mechanism employed by the device.
Primary Material: Indicates the general material composition of the device.
Housing Material: Indicates the specific material composition of the housing of the device.
Housing Color: The dominant color of the housing of the device.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as a cap, fuses, or hermetically sealed.
Ingress Protection: IP (Ingress Protection) ratings such as (IP20, IP65, IP67, etc.) define how likely water and dirt will get into the system. The first number represents dirt and solid contaminants while the second represents water and liquids.

| 6 | Dust tight. No ingress of dust 2-8 hours. | Protected against powerful jets of water. Limited ingress permitted. |

Shielding: Whether or not the device possesses an electrically insulating barrier that helps to reduce or eliminate electromagnetic interference.
