Customizable switches often require accessory caps to enable actuation. Customizable switch types include keypads, keyswitches, pushbuttons, rockers, slide switches, tactile and toggle switches in illuminated and non-illuminated versions. Switch caps are differentiated by color, shape, mounting type, and the specific switch products the cap is designed to fit.
SelectionCharacteristics
Switch Type: Indicates the physical form factor of switches with which a cap is designed for use.
Shape: Indicates the overall shape of the cap.
Color: The dominant color of the cap.
Illumination: Refers to the capability of the cap to allow the light emitted by the switch it covers to be visible or transmitted through the cap.
For Use With/Related Products: Defines other part types, numbers, or series with which this product is designed to be used.
Mounting Type: Indicates how the cap is attached.
Size: The physical dimensions of the device. Typically diameter by height or length by width by height.
