Alpine Amplifier transformer part identification replacement or equivalent

I’m looking for a replacement for this transformer on an Alpine MRV-M1200 amplifier. The faulty component has two numbers on it E220100114A and right below it is DY180327.This is the part # according to the service manual:

MAIN‐P.W.Board T9901 25E44716S01 TRANS,POWER 4T/12T.

Alpine never listed it for sale and PACPARTS does not show it available. I have pictures of the burnt transformer with the part # on it. I’ve searched every possible way and cannot find it. Thank you.

Hello agallardo.uprr,

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.

I’m sorry, but I also did not find anything for those numbers.

For searching for a possible alternate, we would need the dimensions of the original, with the pin spacings, and pinout information, along with all the electrical specifications.

We do not have anything that is a 4Turn to 12Turn ratio.

Magnetic components of the type are often customized and built to order, rather than standard products available off the shelf through general distribution.

While one could reverse-engineer the device and either wind one’s own or have a replacement made by one of the many shops that will do so for a fee, seeking out a donor unit may be the simplest approach.

Thank you. I will measure them. Unfortunately there are no specifications listed in the more a parts list than service manual. I will measure the pin outs and get back with you. I did measure the adjacent transformer with my multimeter and got the same exact readings using ohms setting that I did with the visibly damaged one. There were also 2 diodes burnt but I ordered them since they were still available. The problem was I paid for a working unit on Facebook marketplace and was literally burnt on the sale like the amplifier. My hope was to salvage the amp and my dignity for falling for this. Seller immediately locked and canceled their profile after the sale. That’s a whole another story….
