B&K Precision 9800 Series 110/220V Operation Requirement

B&K Precision’s 9800 Series bench power supplies are both programmable AC sources and measurement tools. These fully programmable linear AC sources deliver a maximum of 1500 VA through the universal line output terminals on the front and the output connector on the rear.

Before using your B&K Precision device, please read and understand the instructions completely.
Instructions can be found on the rear panel of the instrument or in the manual, especially regarding 220VAC input sources. While the devices can accommodate 220VAC inputs, there are adjustments that need to be made before the unit is ever plugged in and energized

As the sticker on the back of the device reminds users, setting up the unit for 220VAC operation doesn’t just mean changing the voltage selection on the device, but also replacing the default fuse the unit ships with. This information will always always on the back of the unit and in the manual, but is often times missed. Per the manual, make sure your B&K Precision power supply’s fuse matches your region *before *energizing it, or your unit will be damaged and must be sent to B&K Precision for service at your own expense.
