I were repairing a tv and I accidentally ripped a COF ribbon half way off of the driver board. I am in search of the correct type of ACF (anisotropic conductive film) to use to connect the COF back to the driver pcb. Does anyone have any insight on this? The COF is still connected on one side and I can mark its position with precision before lifting/delaminating the COF to clean connections and apply new ACF adhesive.
If anyone has any insight on this I would appreciate it. Tv is an ultra slim 4k uhd tv. If there is any more information needed please just let me know and thank in advance.
Unless you have many boards to repair, it may not be worth repairing COF connection to the driver board, as special bonding machine is usually required to get a good bonding. Besides the machine, there is also the cost of ACF Film (Anisotropic Conductive Film) to consider. You will need experience to carry out this job. You can check this website for more information about ACF, www.acffilm.com
Hope this helps.

Welcome to the forum.
On many sites a necropost is a no-no, in this case it’s a yes-yes! Thanks for the nice summary and link.
I vaguely remember wondering what the OP was asking about but never remembered to research it, now I know.
