Data Acquisition or DAQ Systems are comprised of DAQ measurement hardware and sensors that are used to sample signals that measure voltage, current, temperature, pressure, and more. These products can be filtered by function, device type, bus connection, number of and type of inputs and outputs, resolution of input and output, bidirectional channels, sampling rate per second, and more.
Function: Describes what the DAQ is and/or what application it is designed for.
Type: A general description of the item and function.
Bus Connection: How the device’s terminated to for communication.
Front Connection: How the device’s terminated to for data acquisition.
Number of Inputs and Type: The number and description of the input(s) that the device has.
Input Range: Indicates the range of and type of values the device is designed to handle.
Input Resolution: Indicates the smallest input signal amount the device is able to accept.
Number of Outputs and Type: The number and description of the output(s) that the device has.
Output Range: Indicates the range of and type of values the device is designed to provide.
Output Resolution: Indicates the smallest output signal amount the device is able to provide.
Bidirectional Channels: The number of channels that can be both input and output for the device.
Counter/Timers: The number of timing or counting functions the item is able to handle at once.
Sampling Rate (Per Second): The number of measurements per second the device is able to take.
