I want to ask, it mention 16,000 data logger records each channel. is it mean 16000 second? If not can help to explain how the data logger records the 16000 points? I need to clarify this before I purchase
Hello jasoncheah, welcome to the TechForum! I think the datasheet means 16,000 data points for each individual channel. This means it captures little instances of temperature as unique data points. The datasheet does call out that it takes 2 samples per second. It stores these points in selectable formats such as .ghf (binary file), .txt, and .csv for Excel. I would advise checking out the manual here for user instructions.
The device can store up to 16,000 measurements per channel, and the time interval between samples can be configured from between 1 second and 60 minutes 59 seconds, according to page 11 of the manual.
Noting that the manual also states that its sample rate is 2 samples per second, I presume that that is referring to live readings rather than in data logging mode.
