DKRed never can identify my outline layer

I’ve tried DKRed several times over several months. Each time, I include an outline layer (M1 for Altium), but renamed to either .gko, .outline, .profile or all of them and it can never find the outline layer, so cannot process the files as DKRed. What is the secret here?

Hello @Dan_Rhodes,

What design software are you using to produce your Gerbers?

I am using Altium

HI Dan_Rhodes ,
You may want to turn on all layers in the view configuration, try Shift + S, or the boarder simply might be in a different layer. Otherwise, @Erik_Brateng @AaronRollens or @Linzee_1029 or one of our engineers may be able to take a closer look. Please provide any more detail specifics if you have to offer.

The point is not that I cannot see it…it’s displayed just fine. The point is that your automatic system does not recognize that it has been submitted (I have tried all variants of layer names from your site). Because it’s not seen, it’s ineligible for DK Red, so I just send it to pcbway.com for twice the speed at half the price. I have submitted gerbers to Digikey employees and get zero feedback on why your system can’t recognize standard altium gerber layers. That this response is nearly 2 months after my last comment tells me what a priority this service is for Digikey.

Hi Dan, I am truly sorry for your question and order falling through the cracks back in January. I am glad that you were able to get a product for yourself, in the end. I do not know how or why this fell by the wayside back in January or why you had no answers. I was not a part of the builder at that time. I will look into it and try to fix the issues of why this happened.
