Does physical size matter?

Hello. I am having truoble finding these capacitors in teh right physical size. The ones I bought are physically much smaller than the original ones. They appear to have the same specs, they are just much smaller.
Does that matter, other than the fact that they have different physical dimensions?

The size of the orginals are 8x13. Is it ok that the ones I received are smaller at 5x11? I believe that I can still mount them on the board though I wil need to keep them rasied higher up from the board to give the leads enough room to spread ouy.

I need NPE Capacitor 4u7/50V K10 (R)8x13 SBE

Type: NPE Capacitor (Non-Polar Electrolytic or similar non-polarized type).
Capacitance: 4.7 uF (microfarads).
Voltage Rating: 50 V (volts).
Tolerance: K (typically indicates ±10% tolerance).

I incorrectly purchased4.7uF 50V Non-Polar Electrolytic Capacitors - 5x11MM

Thank You and Happy Holidays!

Jim

Hello,

I was not sure if you were after through hole or SMD but I have a link below with those parameters for the options we carry in stock. Let me know if you would like other options as well.

As long at this part is labeled with the same parameters it should work just like the smaller option capacitor. A lot of time Voltage increases the size of the capacitor as well.

Thank you
Ryan

Greetings,

If the specifications are the same the size does not matter as long as it fits in your application.
