Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADCs) Evaluation Boards are populated circuit boards used to provide a working example of a specific ADC or device. The number of A/D converters on a given board ranges from 3 to 32, with sampling rates per second from 2.5 kHz to 26 GHz and input voltages ranging from 0 to 8 Vp-p.
SelectionCharacteristics
Number of A/D Converters: Indicates the number of analog-digital converter cores contained within a board’s focus device. May differ from the number of analog inputs available on a device due to use of input multiplexing.
Number of Bits: Indicates data converter resolution; the width of the digital word used by a device to represent an analog quantity.
Sampling Rate (Per Second): The number of times in one second the device measures and records the analog value of the signal being converted. A higher sampling rate indicates a more precise conversion.
Data Interface: Indication of which interface(s) or protocol(s) are used by the device to communicate with other components in the system.
Input Range: Indicates the span(s) of analog signal quantities over which a device is designed to operate.
Power (Typ) @ Conditions: Characterizes power consumption of the utilized IC, under the test conditions indicated.
Utilized IC / Part: Indicates the central integrated circuit the device is designed around.
Supplied Contents: Indicates items included with purchase.
