Linear Voltage Regulator evaluation boards are circuit boards populated with components and used to provide a working example of a specific linear voltage regulator or device. The channels per IC can be single, dual, triple, or quad, with regulator types of negative adjustable, negative fixed, positive adjustable, positive fixed, positive and negative adjustable, and positive fixed and adjustable. The voltage outputs range from -15 to 56 volts with current output ranges from 10 mA to 5 A.
Channels per IC: Indicates the number of parallel instances of a similar function that are implemented within the focus device of an evaluation/development board.
Voltage - Output: Typically this indicates the maximum voltage an output channel can provide.
Current - Output: Typically this indicates the maximum current an output channel can provide.
Voltage - Input: Typically represented by a range, this indicates the low and high voltage limits which one can expect standard operation. Voltages outside this range may damage the device and other system components.
Regulator Type: Indicates whether a board’s focus IC is designed for regulation of positive or negative rails, and preset or user-configured output voltage.
Board Type: Indicates the extent to which a board has been populated.
Utilized IC / Part: Indicates the central integrated circuit the device is designed around.
