Optical Filters are devices that transmit predefined wavelengths of light. These can be filtered by the type, optical density, wavelength, optic diameter, and more.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the device.
Transmission: The percentage of light that is allowed to pass through the filter and transmit to the output side.
Optical Density: The amount of light rejected by the filter.
Wavelength: The range of wavelengths of light that the filter is designed to transmit, reflect, or attenuate.
Optic Diameter: The physical size or dimensions of the filter’s optical component.
Clear Aperture: The unobstructed area through the filter that allows light to pass through without significant loss.
Mounting Type: The diameter of the filter thread that allows the filter to be mounted onto an optical system.
