Optical Polarizers are used to transform unpolarized light into polarized light, transmitting only that predefined polarization while blocking all others. The various types can be filtered by wavelength, optic diameter, size, and more.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the device.
Wavelength: Indicates the range of wavelengths with which the polarizer is designed to operate.
Optic Diameter: Indicates the diameter of the optical part of the device.
Size / Dimension: The physical dimensions of the device. Typically listed as height by width/length.
Clear Aperture: The unobstructed area through the polarizer that allows light to pass through without significant loss.
Mounting Type: The diameter of the filter thread that allows the polarizer to be mounted onto an optical system.
