Hi everyone! I need help trying to match this disconnect terminal and finding where to buy them and correct crimper for it. Or finding a pre-wired harness matching the wires to just join to the original wiring.
The model number for the LG washtower is WKEX200HWA, it’s for the dryer’s front panel wiring.
I’m pretty sure the wires go into a 9 pin JST PH series with 2.0mm pitch.
In the image you’ll see what the wiring should look like, what the terminals look like (only need 3 for the orange, purple and red), the connector the terminal go into (top and bottom view), and the harness’s current state:
Thank you so much—I appreciate any help, I need to have this fixed by this upcoming weekend Dec 6-8!
Hello @lycia.cromer
Welcome to the TechForum
Looking at the images of the connector you posted, it looks like that connector is CI0609S0000 from Cvilux USA. the CI0609S0000 use part number CI06T011PE0 for its contacts and the crimp tool for the contacts is CM07I060000
Thanks Anthony! I noticed the crimp tool was like $300… that’s wild, any that just exist on amazon that could work?
WM9999-ND is my favorite generic tool due to the breadth of sizes accommodated, though 1528-350-ND has a smaller minimum cavity size that may/may not be useful for the specific task at hand. Hard to suggest one or the other without knowing the wire size.
For reference the style is known as an F-crimp. The cavities in tools for such have a rounded side and a pointy side: success depends on pointing the points on the terminal to the pointy part of the cavity so that they curve and fold downward neatly, rather than getting bluntly smashed in some haphazard and unpredictable manner.
Thanks! What do you think about this option? I’m sure I can make it work… I literally only need it for 2-3 wires so I cannot justify spending more than $20 on a tool I’ll most likely never use again lol!

I would expect that it would give you a fair crimp. I would recommend looking at the crimping guide Cvilux USA has for the contacts that were listed above.
SCCI034.pdf (47.9 KB)
This will let you know if the crimp you get from which ever tool you use maybe usable enough.
