We ordered part # 1939-1066-nd recently and half of the power supplies don’t have the Molex 26-60-4040 connector that the documentation says should be there. I need to know if this a running change or not? On the ones that don’t have it, the footprint for the connector has been removed from the pcb.
Hello @reppertd,
Thank you for your post.
This would be a good subject for contacting our Customer Resolution team at the following link regarding your order.
Thank you, I followed the link but all it did was take me through the return process. It doesn’t seem like I will get an answer to the issue.
Hi reppertd,
Can you send images of both variations for comparison?
Though unusual, I note that despite the drawing of both the Molex 26-60-4040 and the 22-11-2042 on page 6 of the datasheet as output connectors, in the description at the top of each page of the datasheet they only make mention of the smaller 2.54mm pitch Molex 22-11-2042 output connector, while listing the oddly worded “N/A mm, N/A/4 Cond.” right before that. That strikes me as them possibly altering the original datasheet without clearly stating a change.
Furthermore, looking at pages 9 - 11 of the same datasheet, they specifically show only the smaller Molex 22-11-2042 as the output connector.
This does imply that, at a minimum, the smaller Molex 22-11-2042 connector is the one they are focusing on as the output connector.
Looking at the boards further I think there was a running change, but not like I thought. The pcb without the second output connector is labelled REV: A2 Jan. 2015, the pcb that matches the datasheet is labelled REV: B 9-6-2018. The old one also doesn’t have the slotted mounting holes. I’m wondering if I didn’t receive some old stock and some newer stock.
