Help finding replacements for dual capacitor in Zenith CD19MXRF06 monitor

Hi everyone,

I’m restoring a Zenith CD19MXRF06 arcade monitor and I need help finding replacement capacitors for a dual-section electrolytic capacitor that I can’t find anymore.

Here’s the information from the original part:

  • Dual capacitor (two capacitors in one can)

  • Section 1: 300 µF / 180 V

  • Section 2: 1700 µF / 180 V

  • WV = Working Voltage (max 180 V)

  • EAR COM NEG = Common negative terminal (shared ground for both caps)

  • 85°C

  • Code 22-7735-01 (probably an internal part number, often seen in Atari / Electrohome / Wells-Gardner parts)

I’m planning to replace it with two separate capacitors instead of a dual unit.
Could you please help me find modern equivalents available at DigiKey (preferably shipping to Canada)?

Here’s what I’m looking for:

  1. ~330 µF / ≥200 V (replacement for the 300 µF section)

  2. ~1800 µF / ≥200 V (replacement for the 1700 µF section)
Ideally 105°C, snap-in or radial, similar physical size if possible.

Thanks a lot for any help or part suggestions!

Hello GeorgeLebay,

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.

Click here for the 330uf options, and Click here for the 1800uf options.

You didn’t mention your ideal physical size you were looking for.

All the ones in the links, are available to ship to Canada.

I’m sure you are aware, but want to be sure, that the negative lead of the Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors, line up with the stripe on the side, with the negative symbol in the stripe.
