How do I assemble BU-P122505-0 retractable banana plug. Tried everything, I’m at a loss.

Looking at the parts, I would think you start with the larger black body, and insert the black tube (retractable shield) followed by the spring. Next is the metal banana plug. The part I’m not sure about is the white plastic piece. That may go in after the banana plug, with the taper facing out, and then the threaded cap.
Maybe if someone else here has used these, they can add to the post.
mehoffman, I found an assembly photo.
So I think after the body and metal part are assembled, you put the spring and shield on from the end. The shield should snap into place, to keep it from falling off.
