What need is new one, but can’t find part number DigiKey or update
Not sure if it’s a pnp or npn type
Hello,
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum. Looks like heke found your part but I see it’s obsolete. Take a look at DigiKey part BD681GOS-ND as a possible alternate.
Thanks for help, I tried watching YouTube channel (be a novelist to this kind stuff) to learn what is a pnp style to a npn style
I thought i had a npn type of semiconductor from what I watched, i was trying to figure out what the manufacturer was also
I have 4 of these types of semiconductors on my board so i was testing other three good ones (in board) to get a base value
My ? now is, can you test them (on diode setting) without removing them to get true results
Thanks C
While doing the measurements, note that the transistor is a “Darlington”, i.e. the measurement results may differ from a typical transistor (esp. diode measurement between Base and Emitter will give higher reading, around 1.4V).
