Identify an IC found in an LCD drawing tablet toy

I’ve been trying to locate information on the only IC that’s on the electronic board for this LCD drawing tablet toy that was given to me. I can read the following code in it: WT161_C A212, but have not been able to locate any reference to it. Can someone help me out? I’m trying to upload a picture of it.

I’m trying to figure out how the LCD plate clears when power is applied to it to try to build one for my own purposes in a form factor that can be suitable for the use I need it for.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @fesola ,

Thank you for contacting DigiKey TechForum. Unfortunately we are unable to identify the “WT161”. IF the chip were actually labeled “W1161” then it may be one of below chips, but am still uncertain. Please review datasheet specifications:

Depending on threshold voltage, it could be a Supervisor:

Less likely, Click here for Analog to Digital Converter MAX11613EUA+

If I had to pick just one, I would pick supervisor 2156-CAT1161JI-25-488-ND, however this requires 396 piece order. I see we have similar product in stock below, please review datasheets:

If it is an older model, then it would most likely be obsolete CAT1025WI-30-GT3OSCT-ND

If it is a newer model, then it would most likely be 2.55V, 2.88V threshold voltage MIC1832MY-CT-ND or
4.37V, 4.62V threshold voltage TC1232EOA-ND

Thank you very much for your help!.. I’ll check it out and hopefully it will be that! Again, thank you very much and I wish you the best of days!
Best regards!
