Hello,
We are a lab group in Chile interested in acquiring a device to measure GSR at the neck. From the available options, we believe that the following bundle is one of the best solutions, since it includes differents components (although probably intended for fingers):

Could you please let us know what else we would need in order to measure and record GSR data?
-
Do we need additional electrodes?
-
Do we need an Arduino or another microcontroller?
-
Is a protoboard or other hardware required?
Thank you very much in advance for your response.
Best regards,
Nicolás Quinteros.
Hello, first off, my apologies for how long it’s taken for someone to see this! I am looking into the manufacturer information for further details but for now here is what I can tell you:
- You may not require additional electrodes for the sensor to function, but it would be appropriate for your application in my opinion.
- You will need to connect it to a microcontroller or control board, yes. It could be Arduino but it does not have to be.
- As of now I do not believe additional hardware is required, I’m not sure what you would need it for.
A quick follow up!
If you need additional or alternate electrode options, you will have to source them elsewhere as we only have the GSR electrodes that come with the Grove GSR kit by default.
For hardware, Seeed does recommend the following pieces for initial startup: 102010026-ND and 1597-1189-ND
