Inquiry: THT tactile switch with compatible actuator caps (Schurter / Würth reference)

Hello,

we are currently using a THT tactile switch with external plastic actuator caps in our products and are evaluating alternative suppliers.

Current reference solution (in use):

Tactile switch

  • Manufacturer: Schurter

  • Part number: 1241.1614 (PMS series, THT)

Actuator caps (plastic)

These caps are essential for usability and are mounted directly on the switch actuator.

Alternative currently under evaluation (cost-driven):

Tactile switch

  • Manufacturer: Würth Elektronik

  • Part number: 430476085716 (THT)

  • Note:
    The Würth switch has an actuator diameter of 7.0 mm, while the Schurter switch actuator diameter is 6.6 mm.
    It is therefore unclear whether our existing caps fit, or whether suitable alternative caps are available.

What we are looking for from E-Switch:

  1. A THT tactile switch + compatible plastic actuator caps (preferred system solution), or

  2. Plastic actuator caps only, compatible with a THT tactile switch actuator

Key requirements:

  • THT (through-hole) mounting

  • Momentary function (OFF-(ON)), SPST

  • Round actuator

  • Plastic actuator caps available (approx. +13 mm height, ideally multiple heights)

  • Standard series solution (no custom-only tooling)

We would appreciate your recommendation of:

  • Suitable E-Switch tactile switch series with matching actuator caps, or

  • Standalone actuator caps and the compatible E-Switch switch series

  • Relevant datasheets and ordering information
