looking for a replacement microphone jack for a Kenwood ts 450s hf transceiver. i think it is similar to a GX16 TYPE connector. all the ones i can find are designed to accept wires. i require one that can be soldered to a board. the only part number i can find is JVC/Kenwood 881H73-7525-82
its possible I’m not using the correct description when searching and keep getting the wire type.

After some searching I did find a few similar connectors, but I have to say it doesn’t seem like we carry a direct cross for the one in your photo. From what I was able to glean it seems that the Kenwood connectors were sourced in such a way that we wouldn’t have access to the original, and technical data seems difficult to come by on the connectors themselves.
If you can get accurate measurements on the dimensions of the connector, length, diameter, etc we could more readily confirm if anything in stock is going to be a likely match. It looks kind of like an M8/M12/M16 connector to me, but it’s impossible to say without the measurements and checking for a notch or key in the housing. I’ll post the best options I found here so that you can get an idea of what we have available:
