HI is the LDD-350LW able to convert constant voltage to constant current? I want the input to be 24v constant current and the output will be 350ma 3v. will this work?

Welcome to DigiKey’s TechForum,
Part number 1866-3110-ND shall take an input within the range of 9 - 36VDC. The output will be a constant 350mA current. The output voltage will vary depending on the forward voltage of the LED within the range listed as 2-30V. If your LED’s forward voltage is 3V, yes the output will be 3V 350mA. However a constant current LED driver is generally not suitable for other applications than driving LED’s.
ok thank you! so the input does not have to be constant current correct? i had spoken to someone at meanwell who seemed to imply that the input needs to be 350ma as well.
