Hi,
I would like to know if the Coin Battery Retainers 36-3002-ND and 36-3012-ND contain Mercury? The 36-3082-ND and 36-3092-ND obviously contain Mercury, according to the SALESORDER_EMAIL I got.
Sincerely, Michael

Hello,
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum. Please see this forum post on how to request environmental information and in this case a material declaration .
Thank you Steve Fellman,
I have made the request, and am hoping for an answer!

The RoHS certificates linked under the Environmental Information section attest to absence of mercury in the four products mentioned.
It’s unclear to me why anybody would bother adding mercury to such a product (thus making unsalable across much of the world) or why you would have received any indication that it was so.
Thank you Rick_1976,
I too find it strange but the salesorder states Quecksilber (= Mercury) for 36-3082-ND and 36-3092-ND:

A Mercury certificate would be a document certifying the product does not contain mercury, similar to a RoHS Certificate. A datasheet or another document indicating RoHS compliance would make a mercury certificate not needed(redundant).
Thanks Kristof_2649,
your comment seems plausible. But if a Mercury certificate is stated, it should also be possible to see and read it, and thus get either way or the other confirmed.

The following RoHS Certificate certifying the devices in question do not have Mercury is more readily available:
