Hi, I used DKRed for the first time recently, and the boards mostly came out great. One thing I noticed however is that all of my 0.2mm specific drill sizes were increased to 0.25mm. Luckily all of the through plating was successful but some of my annular rings on vias are now extremely thin. Has the minimum drill size changed, or could there be another reason the board house changed the drill size?

Checking with the fabricator on this, we’ll get back as soon as we have any information.
The board fab came back that their standard tolerance for plated holes is ±0.003” (±3 mil) after plating.
0.20mm (8mil) increasing to 0.25mm (9.8mil) would put you within that tolerance.
If the holes were greater than 0.28mm they would be above tolerance.
