  1. Should the pad be removed/detached when connecting the inputs/outputs for Vt, Vcc, Vrf

  2. Does the IC design allow for external modulation via MOD (pin 9)? If yes, What is the bandwidth for MOD input?

Thank you for your post.

I do not see anything about removing or detaching the pad for soldering in their datasheet.

It does look like pin 9 would be the correct contact for modulation, but I am not seeing anything on the datasheet. I do see on page 3 that they have some extra resources for this device linked to the manufacturer site.

I would suggest taking a look at those resources.
