I’m looking for a one shot timer that is simple to integrate on a PCB. I want to output to stay for say .5 seconds, even when the input goes off or stays on.
I would prefer it work with 24V but that is not a requirement. Would anyone advise me with how to design that?
This is one of several common use cases for the storied 555 timer. Aside from the examples in the datasheets and the available calculator resource, examples and hobby projects demonstrating its use are widespread and accessible via one’s choice of search engine.
