Hello, I was wanting to know if anyone has seen this type of connector before and could tell me what it is. It was to a motorola 2-way radio system, but the previous owner took the other radio out and now this is left.

This pattern looks like a 3 wire Molex type connector.
These would normally have a small ramp on one side, to allow the 2 connectors to lock together.
The example I found to possibly mate to your connector, is WM4211-ND. This will have the D shape on the end position, and the spacing between the first and last contact is 0.660", so just over 5/8".
