Thanks for the reply Adam, the link shows a 3 pin mosfet, if I’m not mistaken, and the designation is missing the ‘a’ at the end. SFP3006A. The one I’m trying to replace has two pins and the schematic on it looks more like just a diode.
What do you think? I’m not very knowledgeable in this area, so forgive me if I’m being a bit obtuse.
You have a SPF3006A diode and there is 1 diode inside the case.
In SFP3006 there are 2 diodes inside the case.
The characteristics are the same for 1 or 2 diodes.
You will need a Super-Fast Recovery Rectifiers diode with the following characteristics:
Peak Repetitive Reverse Voltage: 600V
Average Rectified Forward Current: 15A
Peak Repetitive Forward Current: 21 A
Maximum Reverse Recovery Time: 35 ns
