I am having a terrible time trying to find a substitute for 70-503-70 PQ potentiometer for an Ampeg SVT 450 bass head amp. Help

I’m sorry to hear you’re having difficulty finding a replacement for the 70-503-70 PQ potentiometer in your Ampeg SVT-450 bass head amplifier. This specific component, a 50K audio taper potentiometer, is no longer available.
While an exact replacement is going to be very hard to find, I did find an alternataive that should work for you. Take a look at part number PDB181-K420K-503A2-ND.
