I’m using KiCAD 8.0 and it outputs gerber files in mm and not inches. When I upload into PCB Builder, it show the correct dimensions, but UoM is set to inches, and I do not see a way to correct this.
It appears KiCAD uses mm internally, and is the format it outputs gerber files in.
There seems to be a lot of extra, unneeded files included with your ZIP archive.
When I selected what looked like only the necessary files, pictured below it successfully uploaded, and it indicated the unit of measure was millimeters.
Good to know. The only problem is this is a 4-layer board, and you only submitted two of the layers. What files will the zip file need for the two middle layers? Or can you tell me what files should be omitted (e.g. map, job, etc.)?
I should ask, is there a reason for the drill files assigned to different layers? If you’re not doing blind/buried vias NPTH and PTH should be all you need for drills.
