POGO Pin Charging Assembly

Need help identifying/sourcing this charging assembly for an iPad quick dock. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hello EEICT,

Unfortunately, I am not seeing that we have a connector similar to this one in the image. The closest ones I am seeing would be something like ED11074-ND, which has a mounting hole on each side.

Hi, EEICT
I guess this is what you are looking for - Series 868 (Soldercup Termination).

Thank you for the quick response!

Make sure you figure out the pitch (the exact spacing from the center of one contact to the next) of your contacts. Best way to do this accurately is to measure from first to last contact (left side to left side or right side to right side of each) and divide by one less than the number of contacts (so divide by 5 in this case).

Based on your measurement of 0.81" for total connector width, I estimate that you have 0.1" pitch contacts, but you should measure that yourself. Note that the 868-22-006-00-001101 mentioned above has a pitch of 0.157" (4mm), which is quite a bit wider than my rough guess.

If you do have 0.1" pitch, here’s our offering. Unfortunately, of the 0.1" options, I don’t see any that look much like yours, but if the pitch is correct, perhaps you could hack it to make it work. If @Adam7 has the right series with the 0.157" pitch, then you have a better chance of making it work.
