@RobertCNelson Based on your information (and the things I’ve already done) I tried to gather the information from the sites below and not get success with the commands:
./imx_uart /dev/ttyUSB0 mx7_usb_work.conf pico-imx7d_bootbomb_20170112.imx

./imx_uart /dev/ttyUSB0 pico-imx7d_bootbomb_20170112.imx
&
./imx_uart /dev/ttyUSB0 mx7_usb_work.conf u-boot.imx
&
imx_usb u-boot.imx (of course, conform github, imx_usb wouldn’t work because the SOM is dead)
the ftp-pdf file I pulled not contain UART option
