Need help with why a replacement inverter will not respond to control signals
I am replacing failed inverter vfd015s21u(now no longer in production) with indicated replacement inverter VFD7A5MS21ANSAA . the new inverter does not respond to the controls on the lathe it is attached to. It does respond to the RUN and STOP button on the inverter digital panel.

The interface consists of:
fwd/stop
rev/stop
digital ground for the two above items

speed
+10 volts and analog ground

Were you successful in installing and programming your VFD?

I suspect you did a long time ago. In fact, your description sounds just like one of my classic blunders: remote vs local control.
